The perfect path to your new custom home

When beginning your journey down the path to your new custom home, it is very important to discuss the options with a qualified builder up front.  Then get pre-qualified or pre-approved for the financing you need to see just how much your beautiful new home will cost to help you establish a budget.

After you have a budget, work with your builder and / or a very experienced Realtor to get the perfect lot under contract with a feasibility study period (your sole right to purchase the lot, with a right to terminate the contract at no cost to you).  This is an important part of the home design process as it can affect or enhance the way you decide to design your new home (have a walk out basement, room for a pool, etc..).

Once you have your lot under contract, meet with your lender and apply for a Construction Loan or Construction Permanent Financing based on your budgeted amount.  This can be done while you are designing your new home with your custom builder to finalize the pricing and options you want to have in your new home.  By doing so, your lender can get the credit underwriting done up front, then all you need to do is have your new home appraised, go to closing and the fun begins!
